Andrew Collings

Andrew Collings is an urban and transport planner with over 15 years of international experience. Throughout his career, he has worked for a variety of public and private agencies and organisations on the development and implementation of economic and planning policies, and operational/management strategies for large-scale infrastructure and transport system projects across Australia and the Middle East. He is currently working for the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning in Qatar, where he has managed a Bus Rapid Transit Feasibility Project, assisted with the development of a new planning system, and provided advice on the implementation of a 60 billion dollar rail system. Andrew’s experience includes work at AECOM as a Principal Planner, where he provided technical and strategic advice on a number of wind farm, energy, transport and planning related projects. His experience also includes close to 10 years with the State Government of Victoria, where he assisted in policy making, management of road infrastructure projects, and coordination of planning approvals for major intergovernmental programs.
